• 5–7 years in healthcare quality, accreditation, or compliance.
• 3 years coordinating patients with complex chronic conditions.

DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services
JOB SUMMARY: The Nursing Director will serve as one of the senior leaders for the Tulalip Health System (THS), a comprehensive health and wellness system that provides culturally appropriate care to address the physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing of patients and their families. Reports directly to the Health System Administrator, providing support for dedicated, professional teams, ensuring holistic, quality care is delivered to the highest standards. Will work collaboratively with the THS Medical Director and THS Practice Manager to implement quality improvement programs, develop, maintain, and enforce clinical policies and procedures, monitor compliance in accordance with AAAHC Standards.
Provides oversight for quality improvement and safety, education and training, health system accreditation, privileging and credentialing, clinical policy development and clinical staff competencies. Ensures that health services are delivered in accordance with established standards of care at all levels including federal, state, accrediting body and system policies, protocols, and procedures.
COMPENSATION: $DOE
Minimum Required Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BNS).
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Minimum Related Experience

• Ten (10) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
• Five (7) years of leadership in a healthcare environment.
• Five (7) years of experience in healthcare quality, accreditation, and compliance or a combination of.
• Three (3) years of experience coordinating and managing patients with multiple complex chronic medical conditions.
• Experience in making decisions relative to consultation with members of medical and institutional staff and matrix reporting structure.
• Experience with evaluating patient care through an ongoing quality assurance program, that identifies problems and resolution.
• Experience working with diverse cultures, specifically Native Americans.

Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

• WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance)
• Washington state RN license. *Will allow six months to obtain.
• Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
• CPR/BLS Certificate.
• Must abide by departments vaccination policy and will need to provide up-to-date immunization records.
• Must complete a Tulalip Health System pre-onboarding credentialing prior to start date.
• Must complete HIPAA training upon hire.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a Contracted position.
