Job summary

The Tulalip Tribes Health Clinic- Dental is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists with chair-side procedures, patient service, and clinic maintenance. Responsibilities include recordkeeping and radiographic duties, with a focus on quality patient care.

Qualifications include WA Dental Assisting Certification, CPR/BLS, and a credentialed program graduate. The position may include a signing bonus and requires Saturday shifts as part of a regular schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of credentialed assisting program.
• Experience with Dentrix EDR or similar software is preferred.
• Experience with digital radiography is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience working with Native American population is desirable.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Registered Dental Assistants perform a variety of supportive duties to assist the work of the dentist. Registered Dental Assistants provide chair-side assistance during treatment, provide patient service, and perform clinic maintenance, recordkeeping and radiographic duties.

COMPENSATION:

$DOE

The Signing Bonus Is Paid Out In Two Installments

• 1st installment of the bonus is paid on your FIRST paycheck.
• 2nd installment of the bonus is paid after successful completion of your 90 day probationary period.

Eligibility

• Signing bonuses are for select positions only and will be indicated on the job posting.
• Current Employee department transfers are not eligible for signing bonus.
• Any former Employee who has resigned or been dismissed within the past 12 months is not eligible for a signing bonus.

Minimum Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of credentialed assisting program.

Minimum Related Experience

• One (1) year of experience utilizing Dentrix EDR or similar software
• One (1) year of experience utilizing digital x-rays
• One (1) year of dental assisting experience preferred, new graduates of credentialed assisting programs accepted.
• Experience working with Native American population

Required Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites

• WA State Dental Assisting Certification from a credentialed dental assisting program.
• Registered Dental Assisting License.
• CPR/BLS Certificate.
• Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
• HIPAA certification upon hire.
• Must abide by departments vaccination policy and will need to provide up-to-date immunization records.
• Must complete a Tulalip Health System pre-onboarding credentialing prior to start date
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a regular Full-Time position that includes Saturdays as part of the regular schedule.
