Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking Registered Nurses to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in delivering high‑quality patient care using the nursing process. RNs are hired across experience levels (I, II, III, IV) and provide professional nursing care, assessments, exams assistance, patient education and medical records maintenance.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program; Texas license (or temporary/compact); BLS certification; and diverse unit

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
Current State of Texas license (or temporary/compact) to practice professional nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients, according to nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
Coordinates planning for the delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team.
Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes; coordinates discharge/transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation, process improvement and client-centered outcomes.
Addresses diverse patient needs across the continuum of care to optimize the patient experience.
Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
Supports professional growth and may serve as preceptor or mentor.
