Job summary

Qualifications

Knowledge of nursing process, theories, and clinical care.
Current registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to pursue continuing education and remain current in nursing practice.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' needs, plan care, and coordinate assignments with the CareTeam.
Administer medications according to policy and document outcomes.
Educate patients and families and participate in discharge planning.
Collaborate with nurse coordinators, case managers, physicians and departments to manage LOS and care.
Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to education for team members.
