Job summary

MSA Hospice of the Lowcountry, part of the MSA family, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to fill a Full-Time Clinical Manager role for the Hospice location in Bluffton (Beaufort), SC. The job involves managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring quality patient care in a hospice setting.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in SC, 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, and at least 1 year supervisory hospice experience. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical nursing experience required.
• One year of supervisory experience in Medicare-certified Hospice setting.
• Licensed RN in SC.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, processing and assigning staff for all patient referrals.
• Verifying reimbursement source prior to rendering service.
• Preparing monthly schedules for patient care staff under the direct supervision of the clinical manager.
• Distributing prepared schedules to appropriate staff.
• Receiving and verifying weekly schedules against the monthly schedule for accuracy.
• Reviewing schedules on a daily basis.
• Rescheduling any missed visits.
• Maintaining weekly discharges and/or recertification dates in schedule book.
• Preparing daily census and weekly visit count productivity reports for administration.
• Keeping accurate records of supervisory HHA visits.
• Reviewing mileage sheets and itineraries for accuracy.
• Distributing clinical reports to patient care staff as required.
• Receiving lab reports.
• Assisting with supplementary staffing of patients as required.
