CHRISTUS Health in Alamogordo, NM seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and coordinate multidisciplinary plans. The role includes developing comprehensive nursing care plans, evaluating patient progress, and guiding a team of LVN/LPNs and aides on a full-time schedule from 7AM to 7PM.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (preferred), responds to changes with updated care plans weekly, and maintains RN licensure in-state or via compact. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Six months to one year of RN experience or holder of an active GN permit.
• BLS required.
• RN license in state of employment or compact.
• Graduate Nurse Permit transfer conditions apply.

Responsabilités

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies.
• Patient Care Planning and development of comprehensive nursing care plans.
• Implements and evaluates nursing care per plan.
• Supervises LVN/LPNs, nursing assistants, and unit staff.
• Assists in orientation and acts as preceptor.
