Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Understand the philosophy and model of care at HSL
• Excellent English language skills, written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care within established standards
• Collaborate with MD, NP, nurses, social worker, therapists, and dietician
• Document in the EMR and maintain accurate patient records
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants; delegate assignments
• Participate in performance improvement and quality data collection
• Act as coach/mentor to staff and participate in shared governance
• May serve as charge nurse and oversee shifts and care plans
• Support patient independence and autonomy across units
