Job summary

Prime Healthcare is recruiting a Clinical RN Educator to bridge clinical practice and education within our hospital setting. The RN Educator will develop orientation programs, provide ongoing training on clinical skills, protocols and patient care standards, and support new graduates during onboarding.

The role emphasizes mentoring, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with leadership on quality and safety initiatives. Full-time daytime schedule at Providence Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license issued by the State.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and kept current.
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience; Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for new staff and ongoing clinical education.
• Serve as a clinical resource, mentor staff in skill development and decision making.
• Assist in implementing new clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices; monitor compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects; analyze data and aid action planning.
• Encourage certifications and career growth; inform staff about changes in regulations and trends.

Overview

We are seeking a Clinical RN Educator, sometimes referred to as aClinical Nurse Educator,RN Clinical Educator, orNurse Educator. TheClinical RN Educatorinourhospital setting is a registered nurse (RN) whois responsible forproviding education services of clinical and patient care services toattainour hospital’sobjectives, mission and valuesestablishedby corporate administration.They act as a bridge between clinical practice and education, helpingstaffstay current with best practices, policies, and procedures.

Hours: 8 hour – 8:00am to 4:30pm (Mon thru Fri)

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Develop and deliver orientation programs for newclinical staffand provide ongoing training, in-services, and continuing education on clinical skills, protocols, equipment, and patient care standards
• Serve as a clinical resource to staff during patient care, mentor and coachclinical staffin skill development, critical thinking, and decision‑making, and support new graduates andclinicalresidents during onboarding and transition to practice
• Help implement new clinical guidelines, hospital policies, and evidence‑based practices whilemonitoringcompliance and providing remediation or education as needed
• Collaborate with leadership on quality improvement and patient safety projects, analyze performance data, and help develop action plans for improvement
• Encourage certifications, advanced degrees, and career growth and keep staff informed about changes in healthcare regulations and trends

Qualifications

Education, Work Experience and Qualifications:

• Must have a current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum of 5 years acute care experience, prefer Critical Care areas

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

• Minimum of 2 years previous educational experience preferred
• Prior Critical Care experience is strongly preferred for this role
