The CICU Registered Nurse at Elliot Health System delivers care to cardiac patients and families, leveraging the nursing process to meet both basic and complex needs. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and adherence to professional practice standards.

The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule (7p-7a), a $15,000 bonus eligibility, and up to $20,000 for nursing student loan reimbursement, plus a bridge program to critical care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current NH, compact, or multistate RN licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care hospital; 2+ years preferred.
• Ability to obtain BLS during orientation; ACLS preferred.

We have 149 employees on the unit, and we specialize in cardiac/telemetry, S/P catheter, pacer, ICD, stroke & seizure, GI bleed, sepsis, and med/surg overflow. The CICU has Nurse to patient ratios of 1:4 and LNA to patient ratios of 1:10 depending on the census.About the Job:The CICU Registered Nurse delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families.
