Meadowview Nursing Center in Pell City, AL seeks an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to supervise nursing staff on a shift and ensure high-quality resident care. You will coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Join our compassionate team at Meadowview Nursing Center as a Charge Nurse (RN)! Situated at 7300 US Hwy 78 in Pell City, Meadowview Nursing Center is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our 59 residents. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Charge Nurse to oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of exceptional care.

As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in coordinating and supervising nursing care on your assigned shift. You will collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care, ensuring that the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities of a Charge Nurse

Supervising and directing nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care. Assessing resident needs, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating care with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring residents for any adverse reactions, and providing education on medication management and side effects. Overseeing resident assessments, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and initiating appropriate interventions as needed. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, facility policies, and nursing standards of practice, including documentation, infection control, and resident rights. Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
