Ascension in Evansville, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Labs. You will monitor patient status, manage sedation, and track hemodynamic data during interventional procedures.

Qualified candidates hold Indiana RN licensure, BLS, and have 3+ years in ED/ICU/CVICU. BSN preferred; ACLS preferred. Schedule includes 4x9-hour shifts Mon-Fri with on-call requirements.

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS preferred but not required

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver critical procedural care by monitoring patient stability, managing conscious sedation, and tracking hemodynamic data throughout cardiac interventions.
• Guide patient care journeys through thorough assessment, preparation, and continuous documentation to ensure high-quality treatment and accurate clinical records.
• Direct physician communication before, during, and after interventional procedures to immediately address shifts in patient status and ensure real-time team alignment.
• Maintain lab readiness by preparing advanced equipment and specialized medical supplies to drive smooth, safe procedural flow.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
