Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a Cardiovascular Procedural Nurse to perform scrubbing duties in routine and diagnostic cardiology and radiology procedures and to assess patient needs with age-appropriate care under physician orders.

The role requires RN licensure, at least two years in critical care, with prior Cath Lab experience preferred and current BLS/ACLS certifications; the position serves in the Cath Lab team of HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball.

• Two years of critical care experience.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Cardiovascular Procedural Nurse is responsible for performing scrubbing duties of routine and diagnostic cardiology and radiology procedures, for assessing the needs of the patient and for providing age specific patient care based on assessment data, current knowledge/skills, department policies/procedures and physician orders. The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist I accept assignments that are commensurate with his/her experience, knowledge and ability.

What qualifications you will need:

• Education required for licensure or certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) -
• Two years of experience in critical care
• Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
• BLS ACLS
