Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. This full-time role requires days with call responsibilities.

The RN will provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics, monitor hemodynamics, coordinate with physicians, and support equipment readiness while contributing to quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state RN license required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations.
• Addresses psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Monitors procedure room/equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for cases and meets the Cardiovascular Laboratory team needs.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Records patient condition continuously in the laboratory.
• Participates in performance and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.

2. Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.

3. Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.

4. One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $38.18 to $57.87. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
