Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team in New Jersey. The RN will expand knowledge, deliver high-quality direct care, and help coordinate services across the care team to meet complex patient needs.

The role requires a valid NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR certification, and completion of BSN coursework or commitment to obtain it within three years.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Must have six or more months of nursing experience OR be an active participant in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• National certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes.
• Direct and oversee care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
