Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on expanding knowledge and delivering evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population, coordinating with physicians and support services.

You will perform assessments, develop and implement plans of care, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma of Nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Current and valid RN license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Six months of nursing experience or active Nurse Residency program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per evidence-based standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and support services.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Document in the electronic medical record and ensure safety.
