Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license from the Indiana Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.

Job description

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care within the Cardiac Holding Recovery department, executing tailored treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to deliver seamless, patient-centered services, advocate for patient safety by accurately carrying out physician orders, communicate real-time updates to the care team, and assist in discharge planning to facilitate safe transitions home.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid Registered Nurse license from the Indiana Board of Nursing, BLS certification within one month of hire, and a diploma from an accredited nursing school. Preferably, candidates have at least 3 years of ICU, ICU Stepdown, or ED experience, with a BSN degree and ACLS certification. Proficiency in bedside sedation is also desirable.
