Job Summary

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation for a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

The Heart Failure Unit is a 32-bed telemetry/heart failure accredited unit providing comprehensive care for patients with complex cardiac conditions such as heart failure, chest pain, dysrhythmias, syncope, and pre/post cardiac procedures. The team includes clinical registered nurses, patient care assistants, and collaborates with various healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care.
