Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the 20-bed post-cardiac care unit. The role supports adults after interventions such as stents, ablations, pacemakers, and CABG in a tight-knit community hospital setting.

You will work 12-hour night shifts 7:00pm–7:30am, with a focus on safe, high-quality care and teamwork. BSN preferred; active Michigan license and core certifications required.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Nursing License is required.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• BLS Certification is required.
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care for adults post cardiac intervention in a 20-bed unit.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

(CABG, valve, TAVR).

Required Education / Licensure

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire
