Job summary

The Registered Nurse at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital provides patient care with focus on safety and quality during the assigned night shift. You will coordinate care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a 30-bed unit serving diverse trauma and critical care patients.

We seek compassionate, adaptable nurses with a commitment to excellence and the ability to handle high-acuity cases in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years
• BLS certification required
• ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer
• Previous Critical Care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
