Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 5 North Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit on a full-time night shift. You will coordinate and deliver quality patient care, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while guiding and supporting the care team.

This role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus, weekend rotation, and a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider (American Heart Association or Red Cross) within 30 days of hire.

Additional Information

Henry Ford St John Hospital’s 5 North Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit is a 36 bed, medical surgical stepdown unit specializing in the care of patients with chest pain, arrhythmias and heart failure. The majority of our patients are admitted via our Emergency Department and have an average stay of about 5 days. We partner closely with the Cardiac Cath Lab for pre and postoperative care. Our nurses have an average patient ratio of 3-4:1, and the support of Registered Nurse Leadership, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
