Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit (5 North). This full-time night shift role spans 36 hours weekly and includes three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

What You Will Do

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.

Henry Ford St John Hospital’s 5 North Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit is a 36 bed, medical surgical stepdown unit specializing in the care of patients with chest pain, arrhythmias and heart failure. The majority of our patients are admitted via our Emergency Department and have an average stay of about 5 days. We partner closely with the Cardiac Cath Lab for pre and postoperative care. Our nurses have an average patient ratio of 3-4:1, and the support of Registered Nurse Leadership, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
