Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to join our team and provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments to coordinate treatment plans in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Full-time position requiring RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure. Minimum education is an RN with a degree (ASN/ADN/BSN).

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.

Position Details

Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• Basic Life Support certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

• ACLS/ALS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
