Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an RN to join the Cath Lab team at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ.

This full-time daytime role involves 10-hour shifts, direct patient care in the cardiovascular lab, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications include a BSN preferred, active RN license, BCLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN license required.
• BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required on hire.
• One year of cardiovascular lab or CCU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the cath lab.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Communicates with physicians about patient condition and assists with equipment/inventory.
• Ensures room readiness and supplies for each case.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Monitors physiologic/hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Records patient condition in the Cardiovascular lab and participates in QA activities.

Location: St. Clare's Hospital Denville, New Jersey

Full Time | Days | 10-Hour Shifts

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
• Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.2. Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.3. Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.4. One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
