Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus Burns/ICU unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Burn Intensive Care Unit. You will care for adults and pediatric patients with severe burns, frostbite, and related conditions, focusing on hemodynamic stability, wound care, and ventilatory support.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS within specified windows, and at least 1 year of RN experience for PRN shifts. Tuition reimbursement and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with RN licensure, Ohio.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Care for hemodynamic instabilities and provide specialized burn unit nursing care.
• Perform sterile dressing changes and uphold infection prevention standards.
• Provide complex wound care and manage surgical drains.
• Operate mechanical ventilators and monitor patients on CRRT as needed.
