Job summary

Sandstone Care in Colorado is seeking a Nurse to join our medical and clinical team, delivering high-quality care to individuals in recovery. You will monitor vital signs, manage medications, and respond to medical emergencies in a 24/7 facility.

Ideal candidate has an active CO RN or LPN license, at least associate or bachelor’s in nursing, and experience with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders. CPR certified; willingness to drive the 15-passenger van as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• RN or LPN license in good standing to practice in CO.
• CPR certification required.
• Background check required.
• Driver's license and clean driving history.
• Willingness to work 24/7 including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including vital sign checks and symptom management.
• Perform admissions assessments and document findings in the EHR.
• Oversee urine analysis and breathalyzer tests per protocol.
• Administer prescribed medications and educate clients.
• Coordinate medication refills with medical providers.
• Act as a resource for Behavioral Health Technicians and collaborate with the care team.
• Ensure safety by following OSHA and universal precautions.
• Respond to medical crises with appropriate interventions.
