Job summary

Sandstone Care - Boulder, Colorado is seeking an experienced Nurse to join our young adult residential treatment program. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor vital signs, manage medications, and respond to medical or behavioral crises as part of a collaborative clinical team.

The role requires an RN or LPN license in Colorado and a nursing degree, with a focus on compassionate care for clients navigating mental health and substance use.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Valid RN or LPN license in CO in good standing.
• Experience in mental health/substance use or co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including vital signs and withdrawal monitoring.
• Perform admission assessments and document findings in the EHR.
• Oversee urine tests and breathalyzer documentation.
• Administer medications and educate clients on use.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to address needs.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety protocols are followed.
