Flex/PRN options available:

Level 1 - 4 shifts/month (2 weekends) $43/HR

Level 2 - 12 shifts/month (4 weekends) $47/HR

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is looking for dynamic Registered Nurses! If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you! Our nurses work 12-hour shifts.

Shift: 12 hours - 7pm - 7:30am or 7am - 7:30pm

Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital is dedicated to providing behavioral health and psychiatric support to children and teens ages 3 to 17. Above all else, we treat every patient with compassion and respect. Using evidence-based treatment approaches and individualized care, we strive to instill hope in our patients, their families, and our community.

Our Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Garfield Park Hospital. The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates, and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care. The Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit. The Registered Nurse is authorized to initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
