Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess valid State of Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPI training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, provides, and evaluates direct patient care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Observes patient behavior and reports potential problems to Charge Nurse and physicians.
• Administers medications to patients as directed and documents in patient charts.
