Job summary

Tufts Medicine Behavioral in Malden, MA is seeking a full-time Days RN to join the new Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital project. You will facilitate admissions, conduct clinical assessments, and participate in utilization review to ensure appropriate levels of care for patients.

The role requires an RN license, at least one year of nursing experience (psychiatric/behavioral a plus), and CPR plus de-escalation training. Weekend shift differential adds $3.00 to days pay.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by state of employment.
• One year of nursing experience; psych/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required per state/facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications per orders and document controlled substances.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently.
