Shift Options:

• Full-time/Night Shift: 7p-7a (3-12 hour shifts with every other weekend rotation)
• Full-time/Weekend Only Day Shift: 7a-7p (every Fri, Sat, Sun required)

Responsibilities

REGISTERED NURSE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Provide nursing care within the scope defined by state Nurse Practice Act, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure physicians’ orders are transcribed and followed properly.
• Continuously assess patient status, document findings, and notify physicians of significant changes.
• Complete admission and discharge processes accurately.
• Follow universal precautions and accurately administer medications.
• Document medication administration and control substances properly.
• Maintain therapeutic rapport with patients and communicate professionally with all involved parties.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license as per state requirements.
• At least one year of nursing experience; psychiatric or behavioral experience is a plus.
• CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications required (training provided).
• First aid may be required based on state or facility policies.
