• Take responsibility in the absence of the Nurse Manager or Supervisor.

About This Role

What You'll Do

• Utilize a team approach to provide clinical leadership.
• Assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, and appropriate nursing care.
• Demonstrate understanding of principles of all ages, including geriatric development.
• Assess each patient's specific needs, provide treatment, and plan care.
• Provide leadership and guidance for all staff within the appropriate departments.
• Access coverage for all shifts to ensure proper and safe staffing.
• Promote CMH in a positive manner within the building and in the community.
• Take responsibility for facility functions in the absence of the Nurse Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse Licensure with the New York State Department of Education.
• Bachelor of Science in nursing or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of one-year nursing experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

• BLS required.
• ACLS & PALS preferred.
