Qualifications

About This Role

• Utilize a team approach to provide clinical leadership.
• Assure the delivery of comprehensive, safe, effective, and appropriate nursing care.
• Demonstrate understanding of all ages, including geriatric development, to assess patient needs.
• Provide treatment and plan care for patients.
• Offer leadership and guidance for all staff within appropriate departments.
• Access coverage for all shifts to ensure proper and safe staffing.
• Promote CMH positively within the building and community.
• Take responsibility for facility functions in the absence of the Nurse Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse Licensure with the New York State Department of Education
• Bachelor of Science in nursing or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of one-year nursing experience

Licenses & Certifications:

• BLS required
• ACLS & PALS preferred
