Job summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, OR, is seeking a registered nurse for its fast-paced Emergency Department. This Level 3 trauma unit supports a 30-bed ER with a 4:1 patient ratio and high acuity cases.

• $2.50 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $10.00 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $2.50 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center (ATRMC)in Grants Pass is a community hospital that offers a wide range of high-quality medical care to residents of Southern Oregon. The 125-bed hospital combines the small hospital feel with the high-tech capabilities of a modern facility.

The Three Rivers Medical Center Emergency Department has 30 beds and is a Level 3 trauma service. Of the 30 beds we have 2 hold and 4 flex rooms. Nurse to patient ratios vary depending on patient volume but generally it is a 4:1 ratio or less, depending on acuity. The unit is a fast-paced environment with great teamwork that starts with a shared governance model.

Position Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)preferred.

Experience

• 1 year of Emergency RN experience, 1 year of critical care RN experience, or 2 years of combined Med/Surg RN, critical care RN, and/or paramedic experience is preferred

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

Must obtain within 4 months of hire:

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA)
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certified by American Heart Association (AHA)
• TNCC: Trauma Nurse Core Course.

• CPEN: Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse
• TCRN: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse
• CFRN: Certified Flight Registered Nurse
• CCRN-A: Certified Critical Care RN - Adults

• CCRN-N: Critical Care Registered Nurse - Neonatal
