Job summary

Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass, Oregon, is seeking registered nurses for the C/D Unit (orthopedic emphasis) on a 0.9 FTE full-time night schedule. The role offers shift differentials: $2.50 for 3:00pm–11:00pm, $10.00 for 11:01pm–7:00am, and $2.50 extra on weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a mix of Medical and Surgical patients with orthopedics focus in a high-energy unit.
• Nursing assessment, planning, and coordination of patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort with advanced lifting equipment.

Position Summary

At Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, the RN’s in C/D Unit care for a combination of Medical and Surgical patients (with focus on surgical and orthopedic patients). The Ortho Post-Surgical unit cares for the adult population concentrating on the recovery of total joint, colorectal, and general surgeries with a high-paced and high-energy team approach. Nursing Station C/D has 31 beds with an average census of 27 patients.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• Experience in an acute patient care environment

Licensure/Certifications

• RN: Registered Nurse licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) required upon start
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start

Preferred Certifications

• CMSRN: Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse by Medical Surgical Nursing Certification Board
• ONC: Orthopedic Nursing Certification
