Job summary

The Emergency Services Techs at Asante support patient care in the Emergency Department under the direction of the RN, FNP, PA or MD, serving as a vital team member.

Position details include 0.9 FTE with variable hours, $22.53–$30.97 per hour, and shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. EMT and BLS certification are required at start, with ACLS/PALS/CMOT/PHTLS preferred.

Qualifications

SalaryRange:$22.53 - $30.97

Shift Differentials:

• $1.33 extra for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.25 extra for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.16 extra for working weekends

Position Summary

The Emergency Services (ES) Techs for Asante assist in providing care to patients in the Emergency Department under the direction of the RN, FNP, PA or MD while working as a team member and help promote the functioning of Emergency Services.

Qualifications

Required Certifications

• EMT: Emergency Medical Technician certified by the Oregon Department of Human Services - OR - by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians is required upon start.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare provider required upon start

Preferred Certifications

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• CMOT: Certified Monitor Technician
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• PHTLS: Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
