Job summary

MEDI KO is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting at Lynnwood Jail in Lynnwood, WA. The RN will perform assessments, administer medications, deliver treatments, and respond to emergencies while collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans in compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• A valid RN license/certification to practice.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• Experience in roles with direct patient care in regulated environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and procedures related to corrections.
• Strong time management and adherence to protocols; high-quality service.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Full Time, 12 hour day shifts.

Salary:

$54-$62, Placement on scale is determined by the candidate's level of job-related experience.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response. This role will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. The RN will also educate patients on health conditions, monitor their progress, and contribute to a safe and effective healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• A current, valid state(s) licensure, certificate and/or credentials documenting ability to practice in applicable role (RN).
• An Associates or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment.
• Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, adhere to protocols, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).
