Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Registered Nurse for Aging Services Adult Day Health Centers. You will oversee nursing services and ensure compliance with governing entities while coordinating medical services and educating staff, participants, and caregivers.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, an active Iowa RN license, and a current BLS certification, with a valid Iowa driver’s license. A sign-on incentive is offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Iowa RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within three months from date of hire.
• Iowa driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments and interventions with participant, caregiver, and case manager.
• Develop and coordinate the Individual Treatment Plan and coordinate needed medical services.
• Educate center staff, participants and caregivers on health issues.
• Supervise clinical students and assist staff development through trainings.
• Maintain accountability in compliance with regulations in clinical records.
