Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI, seeks a Registered Nurse for our Adult Crisis Residential Program. This full-time role supports a 24/7 short-term residential crisis unit, delivering trauma-informed care, crisis planning, and medication management to adults in need.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team, performing RN duties as assigned and collaborating to stabilize symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and prepare residents for transition back to the community.

Qualifications

• Currently Licensed in the State of Michigan
• Vaccination requirements: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella or immunity
• Annual flu vaccine or approved exemption

Munson Adult Crisis Residential Program Projected Opening January - Start date December

The Munson Adult Crisis Residential Program is a short-term, 24/7 residential treatment program for adults experiencing a behavioral health crisis, offering a safe, home-like alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Residents receive individualized, trauma-informed care—including clinical support, therapy groups, medication management, crisis planning, and skill-building to stabilize symptoms, strengthen coping skills, and prepare for a successful transition back to the community. Staff are part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that promotes recovery, resilience, and improved access to behavioral health services across Northern Michigan.
