Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texarkana, TX seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to provide routine and complex care, using the nursing process, and to support long-range care planning. The nurse may assign and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations.

Requirements include BLS, RN license in state or compact, BSN preferred, and at least 1 year of related experience. Work schedule is 7PM to 7AM, Full Time.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• BLS required
• RN License in state of employment or compact

• Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
