Qualifications

• Adult Medical-Surgical units and patient care delivery across age groups.
• Pediatric patient care delivery across age ranges.
• Critical Care and Oncology care delivery.
• Adult and Pediatric Emergency care delivery.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and legibly.
• Prolonged standing and up to twelve hours shift.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive assessments of patients within admission, using observation, communication and examination skills.
• Plans individualized care, identifies problems, diagnoses, standards, interventions and outcomes.
• Plans for patient teaching, discharge and post-discharge needs.
• Functions independently with treatments and equipment following policies.
• Administers medications safely and documents accurately and timely.
• Reassesses patient condition and adjusts care as needed.
• Maintains a healing environment and professional appearance.
