Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, nursing program graduation, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients, families and teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Flexible to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit priorities.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably in acute care.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in hospital settings.
• Delegate duties and direct staff in delivery of care under nurse leadership.
• Communicate patient changes with physicians and the care team.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment.
• Document patient information accurately and completely.
