AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a PRN/day shift role in an acute care setting. The position involves comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, medication administration, patient education, and close collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) and has 1+ year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
