Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital seeks a clinically competent registered nurse to deliver safe, therapeutic care to acutely ill patients in medical/surgical and maternal child health settings. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing services on-site in Arcadia.

The role requires an active California RN license with ACLS and BLS certification; NIHSS certification is required where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Computer Skills.
• RN with current experience in the service/department preferred.
• Demonstrates strong patient care and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Unit Manager and/or Director.
• Adherence to identified nursing standards of practice.
• Annually demonstrates competence in critical behaviors for the assigned area.
• Promotes unity and teamwork among coworkers with a positive attitude.
• IV competency in IV therapy.
• Competency in medication administration.
• Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate care for each patient; delegation per licensure and competency.
• Participate in organization-wide Performance Improvement Program.
• Demonstrates IRAISE values in interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Director/Clinical Lead RN.
