Job summary

The University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a clinically competent registered nurse to provide safe, therapeutic care to acutely ill patients. You will use the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to meet medical/surgical and maternal-child health needs.

A California RN license is required; ACLS/BLS certifications are required where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in California is required.
• ACLS certification required when appropriate.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate care for each patient.
• Coordinate with the RN, LVN, CNA, nursing student, and logistics staff as needed.
• Participate in organization-wide Performance Improvement activities.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
• Deliver nursing care for acutely ill patients with medical/surgical or maternal-child health needs.
