Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent care and support to the healthcare team in a high-acuity environment that includes a Level III NICU. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and leadership within the nursing staff.

Qualified candidates will hold an active Nevada RN license, BLS, and current ACLS/PALS/NRP as required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification (adult patients) or PALS/NRP as required by department.
• Interim RN license may be granted by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
