Job summary

Summerlin Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide safe, competent patient care in a busy acute care setting. You will lead clinical teams, ensure policy adherence, and contribute to patient-centered care across units.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of nursing, Nevada RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. BSN preferred; one year of acute care experience within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• One year acute care experience or completion of approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current Nevada RN license; BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP or as required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per policies and standards.
• Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision and uphold Service Excellence standards.
