Job summary

Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, NV seeks a registered nurse to deliver safe, competent patient care and to provide professional leadership to the healthcare team. The role requires overseeing staff and upholding Service Excellence standards within a busy hospital setting.

Education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program with BSN preferred; NV RN license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required. Pre-employment assessments may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS, ACLS for adults, PALS for pediatrics or NRP for neonates as required by department. Other certifications as may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
