Job summary

The role requires current Texas RN licensure, BLS, appropriate certifications (ACLS/NRP/Fetal Monitoring as needed), and 1 year of acute care

Qualifications

• Texas RN license (or compact state) or temporary TX license.
• Current BLS required.
• Current unit-specific certifications (ACLS/NRP/ Fetal Monitoring) as per unit needs and kept current.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care setting.
• Commitment to Compliance with Code of Conduct and policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff; provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care per facility policies.
• Interact with hospital staff and departments to resolve patient care concerns.
• May require weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, or on-call status.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence in all interactions.
