Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Day Registered Nurse to join our team at Desoto Annex in Arcadia, Florida. The RN will provide holistic nursing care within the allowed scope of practice to incarcerated patients under the supervision of the DON and Nursing Supervisor.

The role requires an Associate's degree, an active RN license (or ability to obtain one), CPR certification, and eligibility for a security clearance. 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend are included.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of the DON/Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Support the 12-hour day shift schedule (EOw).

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients (3) 12 hour day shifts, EOW.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
