Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Day Registered Nurse to join our team at Desoto Annex in Arcadia, Florida. The RN provides holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an RN license (or ability to obtain one), current CPR certification, and the ability to pass a background check. This per diem position features 12-hour day shifts and EOW coverage.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
